First and foremost, a very special thanks to my family.

Future Personal Aspirations: I want to become a published novelist or short story writer and hopefully get my master's degree and teach college courses that focus on literature from the 1900's or Shakespearean plays. I also want to utilize my own training experiences to help teenagers become healthier individuals by learning better eating habits, proper lifting techniques, and appreciation for themselves.

Future Competitive Aspirations: To find my place in the NPC society. I have dabbled in everything from powerlifting to obstacle course competition to bodybuilding to figure competitions. I'm just trying to see which one will showcase my physique in the best possible light. I would love to still compete even when I'm considered part of the "Masters" generation (though age 35 is hardly what I consider old).

Favorite Books: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston (a classic author from the Harlem Renaissance period), The Shipping News by E. Annie Proulx (a Pulitzer Prize winning novelist), Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (a classic science fiction/fantasy author), and Here on Earth by Alice Hoffman (an Oprah Book Club book)
This list is by no means complete. Coming up with a favorite book is like asking for my favorite song or favorite cloud shape. There are too many to choose from and too much variety to narrow it down. Please feel free to e-mail me to further discuss literature.

Favorite Color: Purple
Favorite Musical Groups: Metallica, Led Zeppelin
Favorite contest season meal: egg whites and oatmeal
Favorite binge foods: chocolate, chocolate, chocolate (and a little peanut butter); bacon cheeseburger and fries, carrot cake, oatmeal raisin cookies

Favorite exercise: I truly love almost everything in the gym, so it's hard to pick one.
Least favorite exercise: Chest day (I don't dislike it necessarily; I just get bored with it.)

While I don't lift heavy on my legs anymore, the following are some of the best lifts I've performed in the gym:

Squats: 250 lbs. for max; 215 lbs. for sets of 6
Leg Press: 600 lbs. for sets of 8-10.
Bench Press: 120 lbs. for max rep, 105 lbs. for sets of 12
Barbell Curls: 50 lbs. for sets of 20 or more (and proper form!)
Deadlift: 250 lbs. for max rep, 185 lbs. for sets of 18-20 (I rarely do these anymore.)
